To prove it, we did a clinical study and placed patients in a pollen chamber where ragweed pollen levels were maintained at 4800 +/- 600 grains/cubic meter. That’s 8x higher than the normal “high” level!

Even at this high pollen level, Allegra provided clinically important relief* of allergy symptoms^† in 1 hour.

* Clinically important relief was defined as 3 consecutive study measurements of “slight” to “complete” relief. ^† Symptoms include itchy watery eyes, itchy nose or throat, rhinorrhea, and sneezing. ^‡ In controlled environmental studies using ragweed pollen.

The FAA has, under special conditions, medically qualified pilots and air traffic controllers who are using Allegra.^*

Allegra is also approved for use by pilots in the US Air Force and the US Army.^†
